Quiet Time II
I have been doing numerous nudes in mixed media on paper. This one is different in that it started out with a “Charcoal Drawing” as the under painting. I sprayed it with a fixatif to preserve the drawing before applying a gel gloss layer. Then I started dripping with acrylic washes and added finishing touches in oils.

These are the latest pieces done in mixed media/oil on paper – 24″ x 18″. I have been strictly devoting time to the female figure but decided it was time for a change of scenery. The source was a charcoal sketch I had done several years ago in a life drawing workshop.
Vegas exhibit update
Sadly I was not able to attend this show, but, HAPPILY one of my pieces sold. It was “Solitude II”

World of Art Showcase entries
I have been really busy at the easel putting together a series on “Nudes” paintings, and am extremely happy to announce that three of them have been selected to be in the World of Art Showcase Christmas exhibit at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas.
